LOGODENT Sensitive Toothpaste provides gentle, anti-sensitivity hygiene and care formulated especially for sensitive teeth and gums.
A frequent cause of overly sensitive teeth is exposed root surfaces. Not covered by hard enamel, the roots contain tiny pathways leading to the tooth's nerve center. Potassium chloride, a natural mineral contained in Logodent Sensitive Toothpaste, penetrates into the teeth via the pathways, forms a protective layer around the tooth's nerve, and soothes the nerve to relieve dental discomfort.
Chamomile, sage and witch hazel have an anti-inflammatory effect and strengthen the gums, gentle silica gel particles clean the teeth, removing bacteria without damaging the tooth enamel.
